Assistant Controller – Bilingual – Permanent Role

Adecco is currently recruiting for an Assistant Controller – Bilingual. This is a full-time permanent opportunity to work with our client located in Gatineau, QC.

The Assistant Controller – Bilingual will have the following responsibilities:

– Prepares monthly internal financial statements;

– Prepares quarterly and yearly financial statements;

– Provides supports to prepare the year-end audits;

– Develops, records and maintains all documentation for the company’s transactions;

– Develops and maintains a control system for the company’s investments;

– Provides support to the finance department about fiscal analyses;

– Provides support to the finance team on the migration of new computer systems;

– Helps the finance team with the preparation of finance files.

The Assistant Controller – Bilingual must meet the following mandatory requirements:

– Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or any other related field;

– Must hold a CPA qualification or be in the process of getting one;

– Must be bilingual in French and English;

– 2+ years of work experience in a related role;

– Previous work experience in an accounting firm is considered an asset;

– Working experience with multiple accounting software (Excel, Simply Accounting, etc…);

– Strong written and oral communication skills.
