Technical Writer with Secret Clearance

C'est un Contrat job à Gatineau, QC publiée le janvier 8, 2021.

Adecco is currently recruiting for a Technical Writer for a 12 Month contract with possibility of two 1-year extensions with our Client in Gatineau, QC (On-Site work). The successful candidate must hold a valid SECRET Security Clearance.

The Technical Writer will have the following responsibilities:

 

  • Develop a successful Sustainment Business Case Analysis (SBCA) which analyzes all viable potential solutions and determines the best fit which satisfies the four principles of performance, value for money, flexibility and industrial benefits;

  • Reviewing, developing and editing SBCA documentation;

  • Reviewing previous programs/lessons learned in the areas of presentation style and language and implement for upcoming SBCA’s as needed;

  • Analyzing material, such as specifications (technical Statement of Work/Requirement), notes, drawings, writing manuals, user guides and other documents to explain the requirement clearly and concisely;

  • Reviewing, developing and editing SBCA documents, drawings and associated data for conformance to established standards and ensuring the documentation follows governmental publishing guidelines.

    The Technical Writer must meet the following mandatory requirements:

     

  • Valid Secret Security Clearance

  • University degree or College Diploma in Technical Writing, Communications, Business, or Engineering;

  • Relevant Professional Certification is an asset;

  • 8+ years of experience as a Process Writer/Technical Writer 5 years;

  • 4+ years Gathering Information, Analyzing the subject and the audience AND Producing written reports and information documenting the analysis of data;

  • 4+ years providing writing services in four (4) or more of the following:
  • Cases or Plans;

  • Bid Proposal Packages;

  • Options Analysis Reports;

  • Analytical Reports;

  • Cost/Benefit evaluations; or

  • Risk Management registers.
